School Lunches
Our school meals are provided by Apetito, one of the UK’s leading school catering companies. Apetito creates nutritious, balanced meals designed especially for children, helping them to stay healthy, focused and ready to learn. Each day, children can choose from a selection of hot meals, including a meat option and a vegetarian option. Menus are carefully planned to provide a variety of tasty dishes, alongside vegetables, salads and healthy desserts. Parents and carers are required to pre-order meals in advance, allowing children to choose the meals they would like each day. Apetito is committed to providing high-quality ingredients, meeting all government school food standards, and catering for a range of dietary requirements and allergies to ensure every child can enjoy a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience. Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals, meaning they can enjoy a healthy school lunch at no cost to families.
Packed Lunches
Children can bring their own packed lunch to school on any day that they wish. We ask that packed lunches are nutritionally balanced and do not include sweets or chocolate bars. Please see our lunch box ideas below.
The Lunch Hour
The children eat together with their class in the school hall at lunchtime. Each class has their own Mid-day Meal Supervisor who looks after them during the lunchtime hour.
We have a strict 'no nuts' policy in school.
