All schools must, legally, have a Governing Body which is responsible for working with the Headteacher and Senior Management Team to ensure the continued progress and development of the school. Their role is strategic, not day to day operations. They serve for a four-year term and will attend training courses, visit the school regularly and attend Governing Body Meetings.
