Sport Premium is a government funded payment aimed at improving and increasing the provision of PE in schools across the country. The amount of money paid is based on the number of pupils in the school and it is ring-fenced, meaning it has to be spent solely on PE.
At St Pauls Infant School, we have always considered PE to be a hugely important part of the curriculum and we pride ourselves on offering children many opportunities to take part in physical activities, both during and after school. We currently offer a wide range of after-school sports clubs over the course of the year.
Here at St Pauls we have planned how we are spending this money and we are monitoring the impact that this extra money has on pupils’ progress and participation in sport and PE. Our overall aim is to improve the quality, provision and sustainability of PE and sport at St Pauls.
