Monday 20th June

PDF version available at the bottom of this page.

Good Morning Year R, please see below the activities we would like you to do today. Remember you can take photos (if you have made, shown or drawn something) or use your exercise book to write any sentences or complete any number sentences. You can ask your grown-up to put your work on Tapestry so we can see what you have been up to. Also, please use this link to access daily speed sound phonics:

We hope you have fun!

LO:  I can use my phonic knowledge to read and write words and sentences.

As it is the last week, we have some fun activities for you to do!

Have a go at practising some of your phonics skills using the attached summer themed phonics booklet. It has lots of games and activities for you to do which will help you practice reading, rhyming and spelling!

You may not get it all done today but it could also be a fun activity book for you to come back to throughout the summer to make sure you don’t forget your phonics skills before you go into Year 1!

LO: I can read and order numbers to 20.

Can you complete a dot to dot? You need to join the numbers in order from 1 onwards to create the hidden picture. Print out the attached document for a range of number ordering dot to dot challenges.

LO: I can follow instructions to draw a picture.

On the YouTube channel ‘Art Hub For Kids’ there are lots of exciting pictures you can choose. Pick your favourite and see if you can follow the instructions to draw it!

Stay safe, best wishes from Miss Gill, Miss Baldwin and Mrs Gedge xxx
